Bottom Line Up Front:

Good therapy is an investment.

Of time, energy, and money —
for both of us.

The nitty gritty.

For you:

Fees: $225/hour for individual 50-minute sessions (~$175 if using Tricare) and $300/hour for assessment. Sessions occur once a week or once every two weeks.

Cancellation Policy: Your appointment time is reserved just for you. Cancellations or no-shows will incur a full session fee charge. You may be able to “make up” for cancelled appointments within the week before, during, or after the date of your absence, if our schedules align. I will make every effort to find a time for you. If you are unable to attend in-person, you may switch to telehealth.

For me:

Like you, much of the work I perform during therapy requires commitment outside session time. I participate in trainings, consultations, public events, resource gathering, networking, research reviewing, and reading/learning. While these efforts maintain the integrity and value of my work, they are not billable hours. Session fees also help cover the expenses of being a small business owner, maintaining my license, and providing for my family, while also ensuring I show up to work with enough bandwidth to do intensive therapy.

A note:

Therapy involves a committed relationship and mutual trust. We both bring unique experience, knowledge, and perspectives. We will both bring varying degrees of vulnerability, courage, compassion, curiosity, empathy, warmth, and grit, as we work over time to find our rhythm and build a secure attachment. I am tremendously grateful to my clients who take this leap, put forth such courageous effort, and trust me with their most vulnerable truths. It is my honor to be part of your journey.
